They discover persons who require and want, but can't afford what they have, or they market to people who don't necessarily want what they offer, even though they require it and can budget it.




You don't want to expend effort on trying to convince people that they need what you have to offer-indeed, that's the snake-oil-salesman stereotype that gave you. a bad feeling about marketing in the first place. When your target market consists of persons who want, need and can afford what you have to offer, selling becomes easy, and a natural progression. One of the most critical skills that a business can possess is the skill to contact a lot people in your target market at one time. You need to have the ability to convey your knowledge and ideas concerning your new products or services with plenty of people at one time.
